For more than twenty years, the principality of Monaco has been supported
the Long-Thibaud Competition thanks to prince Rainier III first, then prince Albert II.

The principality first offered the prize given for the best interpretation of the contemporary
work, and now the prince crowns the laureate who have played the recital in the best way.
