This test consists of listening the CD audio support. The candidate will send this material with his Curriculum Vitae and his registration form. The recording of this test will be done in the best conditions. The recording will be made without stop during the execution. No editing or technical manipulation will be allowed.

1°  The candidates who have been selected will draw their serial number in front of a member of the “Administration Committee of the Competition ».

2°  During the drawing of lots, if candidates are absent for a justified reason their number will be drawn by a member of the « Administration Committee of the Competition”.

3°  The serial number given by the Drawing of lots will not be modified unless absolutely necessary.

1°  Only the First, Second and Third Grand Prizes will be the ones to have the right to call themselves « Marguerite Long Grand Prize ». The three other prize winners must use the terms « Laureate of the International Marguerite Long Competition ».

2°  On  October 24th 2009, in honour of the final concert, the First and Second Prizes will play with orchestra. The other prizes will play one piece of their programme chosen by the Competition. Special Prizes might be invited to take part in the concert.

3°  Laureates will not be able to refuse the edition of a compact disc offered by the competition  and the sponsors.
