ARTISTIC COMMITMENTS

Each stage of the competition, in totality or in part, may be recorded and broadcast live or at a later date on radio, television or the internet without remuneration to the competitor.

Competing in the Régine Crespin Contest implies full acceptance of all the rules and commitments here defined.

The Competition is not responsible for the technical organization of the concerts offered to the laureates in the wake of the Contest itself.

MUSICAL PROGRAMME

You cannot perform the same item twice during the competition in Paris. Only works chosen for the pre-selection audition may be repeated at a later stage of the contest.

The musical programme includes 9 items.

Candidates may compete for the Special Prize of the best interpretation of a work in French, in which case they should add two additional pieces to their programme, which will thus amount to 11 items in total.

You should make sure your repertoire fulfils the criteria required in the section "Programme".

Each performance should be given from memory, works from the 20th century excepted.

PIANO AND ACCOMPANIMENT

Two of the items presented at the pre-selection stage must be solos with piano accompaniment.

You may either sing with the official competition accompanist or bring your personal accompanist at your own expense, provided that you have previously specified his/her name on the registration form at the enrollment stage.

These possibilities and conditions apply at any stage of the contest where a piano accompanist is required.

The candidates should bring their own scores to the audition, including the piano part. No sheet music will be supplied by the contest organizers.
